The goal of this design was to bring this 1890's home into the present times while keeping its vintage charm on a budget
This Victorian turn of the century home was completely updated throughout from its original state. The home had a complete over hall from exterior through the interior. The exterior cheerful color scheme pulls you in through a tangerine painted front door. This decorated Victorian lady is far from formal as it may have been back in the day. The casual beach like coastal breeze feel is way more inviting for todays vacationer.
The antique pine floors were all refinished to show its original character. White trim through out adds a crisp boarder highlight on subtle tints of colors used on the walls that bring the outside in. The ocean blue in the fabrics and white sea worthy color scheme feels fresh, bright, and beachy. An eclectic mix of furnishings gather wicker, wood and metal from local vintage shops. Painting the desk a whimsical blue for some unexpected pop was a clients desire.
Local ocean drift wood is the bold statement centerpiece that brings the outside inside
This dining room has the beach eclectic flare of a local thrift shop without looking less than grand. The fun mix of chairs allows a person to choose a unique seat while dining in this open airy room.
